Whether I am singing an upbeat song or ballad…I want people to feel what I am feeling. I want to touch the soul

Lauren Parfidio has been singing since the tender age of three, when she would ask her parents to play "The Wizard of Oz" video so that she could sing along to “Follow the Yellow Brick Road”. At a very young age, singing was always her passion and she later went onto pursuing vocal lessons. In 2003, Lauren was one of twenty-three accepted across NY’s five boroughs into Talent Unlimited High School.  During these years she began performing with Young People’s Chorus performing across established locations such as Carnegie Hall, Waldorf Astoria and The Today Show.

Lauren later began pursuing her career as a solo artist working with multi-platinum writers and producers such as Drew Ferrante, Matt Noble and Paul Wonder. Some of her original songs include: “Stranger From the Sky”, “Single Life”, “All I Ever Wanted”, “Guilty Pleasure”, “Some Other Girl”, “Just Me” and “The Wrong One”. Her song “Stranger From the Sky” immediately went into rotation on New York radio station Pulse 87.7 FM at the time of its release. She has performed some of her original songs across various Westchester, NY venues such as Ridge Hill, Club Elements, and Kensico Dam. She was also a featured artist on WFAS “Westchester’s Best Music Variety” radio station’s website and has appeared with Vincent Pastore’s band, Crazy Horse All Stars.

In November 2012, Lauren appeared on Empire City Casino’s Lucky Break, a singing competition on New York’s television station WLNY. Her astonishing voice won the judges over and she advanced to the finals making her way to the top 8. She also made her way and appeared on MTV’s Copycat singing competition. While singing is her passion, her talent is not limited to singing. Lauren has studied acting at Stella Adler, The Barrow Group, and Sedgwick Russell in Manhattan and dance at Broadway Dance Center. She was on Discovery ID’s “Stalked” and Curry Acura’s commercial.

Lauren had kicked off New York’s AM 1230’s sports show, “Score Card”, by singing the National Anthem every Sunday before their show.  She later went onto singing the National Anthem at the world renowned Madison Square Garden for events such as NIT Championship, 2K Sports Classic, and their Holiday Festival. Some of her other appearances singing the anthem include Citi Field for the NY METS, Yankee Stadium and many Minor League Baseball games including the Brooklyn Cyclones, Rockland Boulders and the Long Island Ducks.

Her exuberant personality and radiant talent are clear to all those who have seen her perform. Whether performing with the hottest NJ cover band “Juicy” and singing at venues such as Foxwoods, Bally’s, Tropicana, Golden Nugget and Resorts Casino or performing with well-established wedding bands in the NY area, Lauren’s presence is unforgettable.

Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Lauren has learned to be grateful for her talent, staying committed and enthusiastic about striving for her dreams.
